Lanny Ogden
I've been with Milestone for 17 years and travel all over US and
Canada to doing cutting schools and adjusting potato seed cutters.
I've even travel led to China in 2000 and 2008 training and setting
up potato seed cutters. In 2000, Frito Lay sent their employees from
Thailand and other locations to be trained on their farm in China. I
usually start cutting potatoes in Feb. and go until early June
adjusting and cutting potatoes. I have set up cutters for cutting
about every variety of longs and rounds (both red, yellows and
whites). We at Milestone sell the cutter and try to make it to every
cutter that we sell, whether it’s at our dealer or us going out to
the farm. We train our dealers at dealer meetings and also travel to
their areas and travel around with them giving hands on training. We
listen to the farmers for suggestions and that's where we get the
different additions to the seed cutter.
